I’m so happy that my mother let me listen to classical music when I was in elementary school. I really don’t know what would have become of me if she didn’t.

My ideal date would be going to the symphony.

I don’t listen to classical music when I’m commuting because it’s difficult to hear the range of timbre over the noises on the bus/train.

Do you use Spotify? (UPDATES)
Good news: Spotify released a classical music app, Classify, about two weeks ago. You can read about the new apps here.
While it’s fantastic that Spotify is promoting classical music, the app only showcases a mere fraction of the immense repertoire available. Ever since I’ve joined Spotify (last summer), I’ve been keeping up with Spotify Classical Playlists. The blog is a great resource for finding classical music on Spotify. You can also add Spotify Classical to your People list so you can easily access the wonderfully curated playlists.
Cheers,
Jen
^^ Remember this post I created about two weeks ago?
WELL, CLASSICAL PEEPS, I HAVE EXCITING NEWS: I found out that Spotify Classical / Ulysses’ Classical has released a Spotify App dedicated to the playlists from that blog. If you love the Spotify Classical blog, you should add the app to your sidebar. The app is great for a range of classical music fans, catering to anyone from a novice of the genre to a well-seasoned aficionado and, of course, everyone else in between (like yours truly): http://open.spotify.com/app/spotifyclassical

I cry listening to slow movements of Mozart.

I find Shostakovich to be so depressing that I can only stand to listen to him live.
